Fix missing data

Responses not showing up? Here is a systematic checklist.

If you are expecting to see feedback in Ombea but nothing is appearing, work through this checklist.

Check Your Streams

Make sure you are looking at the correct LocationA physical place (store, office, clinic) in your Touchpoint hierarchy where feedback is collected. or WebsiteA digital place in your organization hierarchy — your website domain where embedded feedback widgets collect responses. in the sidebar. If the wrong one is selected, you will see data from elsewhere — or nothing at all.

Check the Archived Streams tab to see if your StreamA feedback collection setup — the questions, design, and logic. Think of it as a survey template attached to a Touchpoint. has been automatically archived. If it has, open it for editing and extend the expiry date.

Check the Reporting Dates

Clear Your Browser Cache

Sometimes stale cached data can prevent new results from appearing.

  1. Log out of Ombea.
  2. Clear your browser cache (Chrome · Edge · Safari).
  3. Log back in at insights.ombea.com.

Still Nothing?

If none of the above helps, the issue may be with the hardware device itself. Try rebooting it — see Reboot Your ExpressPod or Reboot Your ExpressTab. If the problem persists, contact support@ombea.com.
