Set up an ExpressTab
Register your tablet, then dial in the language and design.
- You need admin access to do this. About roles
- Organize Your Locations must be set up first.
- Assemble Your ExpressTab must be set up first.
An ExpressTab is a tablet-based feedback device built for longer, multi-question surveys. Register it as an On-site Touchpoint inside a Location, then assign an ExpressTab Stream to it.
Set up language and design during registration. Getting colors, fonts, and language right from the start means one less return trip to the device.
Add an ExpressTab
Head to Admin > Touchpoints in the sidebar. Open your Location for editing and go to Step 2 — Touchpoints. In the On-site Touchpoints table, click Add touchpoint.
- Subscription ID — Paste the ID provided by your Ombea account manager.
- Touchpoint Name — Give it a descriptive name (e.g. "Reception" or "Meeting room B").
- Select language mode — Choose a mode: Stream language (default) or Select language. See Set Your Survey Language for details.
- Design tab — Customize colors, fonts, background image, and smiley face colors. See Change Colors, Fonts & Design for the full guide.
- Click Add.
Nothing is saved until you click Save on the Location wizard.

Good to Know
You do not choose the device type yourself. The system reads the Subscription ID and determines the type automatically.
Click the delete icon on the touchpoint row. A confirmation dialog warns that all associated results will be removed. The deletion stays local until you save the Location wizard.
