Set up an ExpressTab

Register your tablet, then dial in the language and design.

Before you begin

An ExpressTabA tablet-based feedback device for longer surveys. Supports branching and multi-question flows. is a tablet-based feedback device built for longer, multi-question surveys. Register it as an On-site TouchpointA feedback channel inside a Location or Website — such as a tablet, a feedback link, or a review import. inside a LocationA physical place (store, office, clinic) in your Touchpoint hierarchy where feedback is collected., then assign an ExpressTab StreamA feedback collection setup — the questions, design, and logic. Think of it as a survey template attached to a Touchpoint. to it.

Tip:

Set up language and design during registration. Getting colors, fonts, and language right from the start means one less return trip to the device.

Add an ExpressTab

Head to Admin > Touchpoints in the sidebar. Open your Location for editing and go to Step 2 — Touchpoints. In the On-site Touchpoints table, click Add touchpoint.

  1. Subscription ID — Paste the ID provided by your Ombea account manager.
  2. Touchpoint Name — Give it a descriptive name (e.g. "Reception" or "Meeting room B").
  3. Select language mode — Choose a mode: Stream language (default) or Select language. See Set Your Survey Language for details.
  4. Design tab — Customize colors, fonts, background image, and smiley face colors. See Change Colors, Fonts & Design for the full guide.
  5. Click Add.

Nothing is saved until you click Save on the Location wizard.

Good to Know

You do not choose the device type yourself. The system reads the Subscription ID and determines the type automatically.

Click the delete icon on the touchpoint row. A confirmation dialog warns that all associated results will be removed. The deletion stays local until you save the Location wizard.
