Place your feedback terminals
Placing your feedback terminals thoughtfully will pay dividends in terms of feedback volume. See Optimize terminal placement for more.
Register in Ombea
Once assembled, register your ExpressPod as a TouchpointA feedback channel inside a Location or Website — such as a tablet, a feedback link, or a review import. inside a LocationA physical place (store, office, clinic) in your Touchpoint hierarchy where feedback is collected.:
- Head to Admin > Touchpoints in the sidebar. Open your Location for editing and go to Step 2 — Touchpoints.
- In the On-site Touchpoints table, click Add touchpoint.
- Subscription ID — paste the ID provided by your Ombea account manager. The system reads the ID and determines the device type automatically.
- Touchpoint Name — give it a descriptive name (e.g. "Entrance" or "Checkout").
- Click Add, then Save on the Location wizard.
Test it right away. Press each button after registration and check your dashboard — confirming connectivity now saves you a trip back later.
Print your questions
Your ExpressPods are live! Now print questions to put in the question holders — see Set up an ExpressPod survey.
Good to know
Click the delete icon on the touchpoint row. A confirmation dialog warns that all associated results will be removed. The deletion stays local until you save the Location wizard.
