Import Google, Trustpilot & Facebook Reviews

Pull your Google Reviews, Trustpilot, and Facebook feedback straight into Ombea.

Before you begin

A public review Touchpoint imports feedback from external platforms — Google Reviews, Trustpilot, or Facebook — into Ombea. You can add them to both Locations and Websites.

Add a Public Review Touchpoint

Head to Admin > Touchpoints in the sidebar. Open your Location or Website for editing and go to Step 2 — Touchpoints. In the Public Touchpoints table, click Add touchpoint.

  1. Subscription ID — Paste the ID provided by your Ombea account manager. The system determines whether it connects to Google Reviews, Trustpilot, or Facebook.
  2. Touchpoint Name — Give it a descriptive name (e.g. "Google Reviews — High Street").
  3. Connect to the review platform (see below).
  4. Click Add.

Nothing is saved until you click Save on the Location or Website wizard.

Connect Google Reviews

  1. Click the Connect button. A Google sign-in popup opens.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that manages your business listing.
  3. Select the account from the list.
  4. Select the location (business listing) you want to import reviews from.
  5. The connection is confirmed and reviews start importing.

Connect Trustpilot

  1. Click the Connect button. A Trustpilot authorization popup opens.
  2. Sign in with your Trustpilot business account.
  3. Select the business unit you want to import reviews from.
  4. The connection is confirmed and reviews start importing.

Connect Facebook

  1. Click the Connect button. A Facebook sign-in popup opens.
  2. Sign in with the Facebook account that manages your page.
  3. Grant the required permissions.
  4. Select the page you want to import reviews from.
  5. The connection is confirmed and reviews start importing.

Manage a Connected Review Source

Click the Disconnect button on the touchpoint to stop importing new reviews. Previously imported reviews stay in your data.

Click the Re-import button to manually trigger a fresh import from the review platform. Useful if you suspect reviews are missing or delayed.

Good to Know

Whether you connect Google Reviews or Trustpilot to a Location or a Website, the process is identical.

Click the delete icon on the touchpoint row. A confirmation dialog warns that all associated imported reviews will be removed. The deletion stays local until you save the wizard.
